we are not JUSTICE material - Farmers

I had been to a farmer named particularly XYZ for a particular reason that I wanted to write a movie about farming in space. Our meeting was scheduled on an empty farm field where people are far far away. He poured some local drink in two glasses and we cheered after then he lit a bidi and why I have been to him. 

Me: I want to listen to some of your thoughts about farming.

XYZ: two years left for the next election, isn't it?

Me: No, no I am a writer, I want to write a movie about farming?

XYZ: a farmer is a hero in your movie, stop that thinking? No one will watch it?

Me: no, no there are plenty of movies where farmers are heroes.

XYZ: I have also seen all that movies, they are farmers! I never get that.  If you want to write that kind of movie, go now? How don't you make a movie based on Premchand's Godan or Fakirmohan Senapati's 'chha mana aatha guntha'. the movie should be like this.

Me: my movie is different from general farming? I want to set up farms in space.

XYZ: Listen you and your different plans on farming and farmers are very different from as usual general farmers. I don't know what you want to prove but from the inception of civilization, the farmers have set their tones. They have to oppress, victimize, poor, unheard, unnoticed, weak, and since independent vote bankers of politicians.

Me: you are going out of context.

XYZ: you the fool have gone outside of the context of farmers and now you are saying I am going out of context. Get out?

He was a little angry and went to a distance and pee while looking at the sky. He came back, lit a bidi again, and this time I asked him for a bidi. He gave me one while took a glance at my face and sat finally.

XYZ: Actually no one cares about farmers. Lord Krishna didn't give a good harvest to his friend Sudama, instead, he tested his friendship and he passed so he outsourced everything to him. The same thing is happening nowadays. Politicians are checking our loyalty and they are not God so they humiliate us. We the farmers are always in fighting mode. From the beginning of civilization, we fought with animals, in slash and burn time we fought with other farmers groups, in times of kings, we fought against kings, in times of zamindars we fought against them, in times of British we fought against them, in times of politicians we fought against them. Farmers are now really tired not because of farming or anything, it is only because of fighting with others. Some will say fighting till the end will show our characters, who does care about our characters when we don't fight. Fighting with others is not a choice for us, it is the expectations of people we have to fulfill. Expectations hurt when we don't fight. This fight is not for justice, this fight is for life. Politicians give slogans about farmers to sympathize with us to keep fighting. Their yojana for farmers is not justice for farmers it's a selective humiliation. The vast slogan and yojana are always louder than the tiny reality. This is only in the case of farming. In another aspect, we are dejected by the normal people, for them, we are fools, illiterate, manner less. The same people who are shouting through smartphones don't have a minute to look and smiles at us. Society changes also, we studied our boys and girls and now we are feeling dejected by them. It's normal but we parents never accept we are not that level of intelligence as our children. We are full of superstitions and they are scientific. There will be a never-match between us. The fight starts again with our children. This fight hurts more than any other fight. I said much. What do you think of farmers now?

Me: they are brave people!

XYZ laughed loud for some time and I was worried little

XYZ: our humiliation appears brave to you. This is the fault in that all those movies. Farmers always win those movies but in reality, farmers don't even win a single battle on their own. No one cares about us till some other giant figures join us. They are not always like to join but they join to take their chance for popularity. 

Me: we are out of topic again. 

XYZ: didn't we discuss farmers?

Me: yes, movie topic but you go from Krishna to politicians

XYZ: look at my range, I know everything. Remember this one-liner, use it in your movies

Me: any other one-liners

XYZ: 1. farmers are not JUSTICE material  2. farmers will never get Justice till they are justified by politicians. 3. Farmer's life doesn't matter.4. Farmers are prone to humiliation. 5. Kill the farmers- welcome to Nepal. 6. Once a farmer, always a victim. 7. Make a farmer humiliate again!

XYZ: I have a script, do you wanna look at that?
