The simple fundamental behind every protest is not to take everything for granted. Yes, you have the authority over us but you are not always right about your thinking, what is right and wrong for us. Whenever the authority doesn't listen, people protest. Protesting against authority nowadays is not only limited to that particular thing, it has now all situational values. And authority doesn't look at protesters as only protesters to that particular cause. Authority scrutinizes protesters on caste, race, religion, politics, and economic conditions. And I think that authority always knows that the consequences of his action but authority want to see the reaction of his decision. You can mark that how often a business person is protesting against the authority and how often a common people. A businessperson doesn't protest and he/she has suggestions and authority without delaying work upon that and throw out every problem from their way. For common people, authorities go checks and balances from time to time. They will first focus on the resistance, if they are satisfied then they will try to negotiate with smaller policy changes. The authority never wants to negotiate terms with people but to prove a certain sentiment they agree upon a certain condition that is not merely important for the policy. After this, both sides get violent and do some crazy things that catch on every eye. Though violent action has its repercussions it certainly changes the mood of the other common people who is not as a protester or an authority. The people are in binary either 1 or 0. The whole atmosphere is also binary, you have to choose either 1 or 0. If you haven't chosen anything people will choose themselves by your name whether you are 1 or 0. Now not only the protester from the protest field are protesting but also everyone is protesting from their phone to clarify protesters or authorities that he/she is either 1 or 0. Now the protest or policy does not matter, it only matters that you are 1 or 0. In the binary sense, both 1 and 0 are right to their way and wrong to each other. Everybody is correct now so both protest and authority stick to their plan for whatever happens. For both of them now have people's support. So they will go on now for an indefinite period.
In this protest, everyone comes to support either 1 and 0 but no one cares about the part of suffering. After a certain time, both 1 and 0 are parasites to each other. Now both are harmed but in a protest, the protester is always more harmed than authority. The authority doesn't suffer anything from protest so now the authority doesn't care about protesters. When the authority gets the stiffness then the protesters try something to feel the authority. In this trying the protester always suffers and due to stiffness, the authority doesn't feel anything. It's a new normal for them.
In between all this, practically all forget about protecting each other, either 1,0 or 0,0 or 1,0 or 1,1. Spare others no one thinks about to protect their friends. Though authority has a role to protect the protesters, when you are protesting against authority, the authority will always try minimum to protect protesters. Protester most of the time think the security will save them but they forget most of the time that they are authority's service people. They are there to follow the orders not to suffer from the protesters. You may say they are heartless people but who will suffer for the security man when his payment gets to hold or continuous transfers and misbehave from the authority. If he/ she does things to suffer you less, you may say thank u to him or her. Is only a thank you enough for a happy family? No certainly not. It's a pretty thing to listen and watch security go against order and do something but for him or her suffering flight takes off.
For a person to suffer from suffering and protect the weak from the strong is normal but when the person is a protector and bound by the order to not suffering and protecting at a certain time is very hard.
We can this is not fair, that is not fair to a lot of things but who said life is fair. The irony is that I will protest against you and seek protection. Are we living in fictional Ayodhya( under lord ram)? The authorities have the power to protect the protesters but whom will they humiliate? The authorities have ears to listen, eyes to watch, and sense to feel suffer but who cares about protesters they have to focus on trimming.
So what is the solution?
I think I will have to resurrect as Jesus Christ.
