Critical thinking behind "Expectation"

"Desire is the real cause of sorrow"—Buddha said this in 600bc. By the flow of time, the term now is "expectation hurts" in the same sense as before. But the problem was and still is that we cannot rid ourselves of desire or expectation. It's the hypothetical edible concept we all agree on but can not imply in our lives. Some say the Sanyasis, Sadhus, who left their home, family, and everything, don't have any desire, but the problem here is that the desire/expectation is the real cause for their leaving home to achieve something. They were not playing cricket after they had left; instead, they were meditating for something great. I don't know whether they were only sad or feeling pain by desire, while there were plenty of other reasons to be sad.

Precisely because I haven't discussed what "Expect the Unexpected" means, there is always an expectation behind it. When there is no expectation, there is a surprise, but we would be surprised by known or unknown animals, birds, etc., and only the unexpected comes from our known people. When we always say to our close ones that we want nothing from them, in hindsight, we expect much more from him/her than any other person. While an expectation can go either way—constructive or destructive—unexpected go only in a constructive way.

Now I don't care about expectations or un-expectations. I only care about you. You are the one who both expects and does not expect me. The word "care" is also an indirect word for "expect." Normally, people don't care about anything that will not comfort them, make their lives happy, or soothe them. Humans, by nature, only care for those who care for them, either in a direct or indirect way. Many people have given their lives for the betterment of people, animals, and society, but in retrospect, they weren't sacrificing their lives for people. They sacrificed their lives for their souls. Who will be happy if they sacrifice their lives for the betterment of the people? People will ask how I know all this as they have not said this to anyone. I know for a fact that they were happy by doing their work, and first of all, everyone wants happiness. If happiness is the result of your work, then that is your expectation. If you don't expect happiness from your work, then you can't do justice to your work, and your work will remain mediocre, and no one will say you sacrifice everything for your work

In our daily life, people do most of the things needed to make their living. But all things need not fall under the category of expectation. The majority of what we do to survive on Earth. We expect something from only humans. At the same time, we have no specific expectations from the sun, the moon, trees, squirrels, ants, flies, or birds, but we do have high expectations of them collectively in order to live comfortably on the planet.

Expectation doesn't hurt, but life hurts. Life wants to survive. The survivor wants to be safe. To be safe, the survivor does what he thinks will be safe.

People think that they are safe in the house and say, "We have to meditate and we have to eradicate all the expectations." Then they flood their sweet home. Thousands of people lost everything in the great depression. Thousands of people have lost their lives trying to live freely, but after being free, they are murdered by fellow free people. Their expectations didn't hurt them; their survival hurt them. Every life wants to survive, and every life wants to be safe in their own way.

Survive Hurts.

Stay safe and happy
