Thinking behind the Illusion of knowledge

From childhood, I knew "Vidya Dadati Vinayam," which literally means "knowledge gives humility or simply knowledge makes people humble." A few years back, I got to know that "knowledge makes people powerful, and absolutely powerful people make corruption absolutely".

Check out What is the Truth?

A few days ago, I read the above quote. I liked it and saved it without knowing the right meaning of the phrase "illusion of knowledge. Sometimes I analyse who should be placed in the category of the illusion of knowledge and who is ignorant. It is hard for me to categorise them because I have to judge them for categorization. Unable to access knowledge makes some people ignorant, while propaganda or faulty knowledge sources make some people fall under the illusion of knowledge.

But I think the illusion of knowledge is not a permanent or eternal thing; it is merely a temporary state. In this state, people never always react similarly. For some, it's an absolute NO state, while for others it depends upon value addition. For value-adding people, knowledge is not an illusion but a choice. And for no-state people, knowledge is not an illusion. They cannot believe that knowledge exists outside of their knowledge. Yes, the illusion of knowledge will remain the greatest enemy of knowledge because there is a majority of illusionists, and the majority rules irrespective of how good reality is. Yes, today's knowledge will change from an illusion in the next fifty years to a more superior knowledge. Yes, the difference will be there. The illusion of knowledge will remain the greatest enemy. Knowledge is not power; the illusion of knowledge is power.
